THANKS TO OUR GENEROUS DONORS, WE WERE ABLE TO MEET OUR INITIAL GOAL OF $25,000 AND PROVIDED BIKES TO 500 CLUB MEMBERS!
Hundreds of families still need our support! Will you help us meet our new goal of $45,000?
Help us Brighten the Holiday Season for the Kids who need you most!
This Holiday season, our Club parents need all the support they can get.
Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Anaheim-Cypress (BGCGAC) serves over 500 Club Members daily and over 80% of our youth are considered Low-Income. BGCGAC operates out of 9 Club sites and all our Clubs provide meals, educational programs, mentors and the resources kids need to become caring, responsible, productive citizens.
This year's supply shortage has increased the challenges that our Club parents face when purchasing Holiday gifts for their kids. With your support today, we can provide GREAT memories to kids and families this season.
Will you help us raise $45,000 to provide each child with a bicycle, helmet, bicycle safety course, books, toys, and delicious holiday meals?
Let's get our kids on the Road to Greatness!
Kevin and Diana's Story:
At exactly 2:37PM Monday - Friday, Kevin and his little sister are out of school and begin their walk to our Club. It takes them about 20 minutes to arrive to the Club and around 10 walk to get home.
Kevin and Diana have been Club Members for over 5 years and both of their parents work all day to make ends meet. Purchasing gifts for the Holidays is always a challenge for Club families, but due to the supply shortages this year, our Club parents are finding it even more difficult to find affordable gifts for their kids. Gifting kids like Kevin and Diana a gifts, a bicycle, helmet and holiday meals not only provides them with a safer transit to our Clubs, but also gives parents a break when worrying about gifts for the Holidays. Our goal is to provide our kids and families with positive holiday experiences that will forever be embedded in their memories.
"If I had a bike, I would use it to ride with my mom, dad and brother. My brother doesn't need training wheels but I still do. He can teach me to ride without training wheels." - Emma, 6 Year old
